Climb the Rating Ladder:
500 to 999
Students will study opening principles and ideas, middlegame strategy and planning, endgame techniques, and tactical puzzles designed to improve calculation skills and pattern recognition. All lessons and training materials will be tailored to the students’ current skill level, ensuring that concepts are introduced at an appropriate pace and difficulty. Lessons will focus on developing a deeper understanding of chess, strengthening decision-making skills, and building practical tournament-ready knowledge. The program combines instruction, guided practice, and analysis to help students become stronger and more confident players.
- Classes start on July 25th and run for 5 weeks
- Classes run on Google Meet, using lichess.org for gameplay
- Class size 4-10 students

Students will study advanced opening theory, positional concepts, middlegame strategy and planning, endgame techniques, and challenging tactical exercises designed to improve calculation skills and pattern recognition. All lessons and training materials will be tailored to the students’ current playing strength, ensuring that topics are both relevant and appropriately challenging. Lessons will focus on deepening chess understanding, improving decision-making, and developing practical tournament skills. The program combines instruction, guided practice, and analysis to help students achieve consistent improvement and perform at a higher level in competitive play.
